Each year, all students in 4-12th grade orchestra receive a shirt to wear for concerts and orchestra related events (Last year's was the lime green one--this year will be Carolina Blue). This gives the ensemble a cohesive and unifying look and helps to create a community of belonging. The design is by MHS Orchestra Alum Sarah Ripp Donovan and is a secret until they arrive. The first time we will wear them will be for the WMEA Conference performance for Symphony Orchestra on October 26th, and then more events later in the year. By Friday, September 15:
Please head to the Orchestra Booster website https://www.mcporchestra.org/ and click on “Shop” and then “Annual Concert T-Shirt" to order your shirt. You can also purchase "donations" to cover the cost of other students’ shirts. Shirts are $9.
If you do not wish to purchase a shirt (for whatever reason--no questions asked), your student will still get one. It will be paid for by district orchestra funds. We will follow up and ask about shirt size.
Shirts will arrive in mid October and will be handed out in class.
This shirt order is for current orchestra students only. Please do not order extra shirts for other family members.
Questions? The answers might be on the Orchestra T-Shirt FAQ. or email me at skurr@mcpasd.k12.wi.us
