Without question, the biggest single factor in selection is the student’s performance.  Other factors that might be considered include, but are not limited to:

  • Length of work

  • Difficulty of accompaniment

  • Availability/Cost of accompaniment

  • Variety of program (style, instruments)

  • Past winner

The amount of incredible work represented by this year’s performances is a testament to MHS students and their dedication to their musical craft.  The MHS Music Department Staff is impressed with all of these students.
